About the Club….
The Bate Academic Team encompasses testing, quick recall, FPS (Future Problem Solving) and Writing Composition teams.
Meetings: Quick recall meets every Wednesday after school until 5:45 and we tutor on Thursday for testing after school until 4:45. We have various Saturday tournaments that we travel too, some home scrimmages against local schools, and if we have a good year we attend Nationals in another state.
Membership: Tryouts are in early August for quick recall and several rounds for testing to make that portion of the academic team. There is a $50 fee as well. Also, parents are asked later in January to help with our Bate Invitational Quick Recall tournament fundraiser.
